About The Position

The Fort Lauderdale office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking a transactional associate attorney to join its Corporate Practice. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of corporate transactional experience, with a focus on corporate, securities, and real estate transactions. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of sophisticated transactions, including public and private securities offerings, mergers & acquisitions, commercial leases, company formation, and corporate governance. Lewis Brisbois’ Corporate Practice attorneys advise clients regarding choice of business entity and entity formation, corporate governance, corporate finance, federal and state securities, regulations, stock option and deferred compensation plans, commercial law and finance, secured transactions, equipment leasing, international business law matters, and handling mergers & acquisitions and other company reorganizations. We assist clients that range from start-up companies to large and long-established corporations. We also represent a large number of not-for-profit organizations, notably in religious and educational activities. Requirements

At least two (2) years of corporate transactional experience, with a focus on corporate, securities, and real estate transactions.
Strong analytical, communication and writing skills is required.
Must be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
