About The Position

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected graduate students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. Role and Responsibilities Position Overview: Samsung Electronics America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations, Strategy & Business Development Intern to support a dynamic and fast-growing cross-Lines of Business (LOB) initiative under Samsung's "One Samsung" approach. This initiative is designed to bring together multiple product categories, including Home Entertainment, Digital Appliances, and other Samsung B2B offerings, to create integrated and comprehensive solutions tailored for business customers. The team operates at the intersection of strategy, operations, and enterprise sales, fostering collaboration across various functions to drive innovation and deliver value to enterprise clients. In this role, the intern will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across sales, operations, supply chain, service, and strategy teams. The primary objective is to support the execution of new business initiatives that span multiple product lines, ensuring alignment with Samsung's overarching goals and strategic vision. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the development, operationalization, and scaling of large-scale enterprise programs within a global technology organization. The intern will gain invaluable experience in enterprise strategy, go-to-market execution, and operational leadership while developing practical skills in analysis, project management, and executive communication. Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, Operations, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field. Final-year students or recent graduates are strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Analytical and Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to approach complex problems with a structured mindset and develop effective solutions.
  • Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. This includes prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines consistently.

  • Microsoft PowerPoint Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (building clear, executive-ready slides). Ability to create visually appealing presentations that effectively communicate key messages.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to work with structured and unstructured data to support analysis and reporting. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques is a plus.
  • Business Operations Understanding: Basic understanding of business operations, sales processes, or go-to-market concepts. Familiarity with key business processes and how they interrelate is important.
  • Reporting Tools: Comfort working with dashboards, trackers, or reporting tools (e.g., CRM, Tableau, or similar tools—exposure is sufficient). Ability to use these tools to create insightful reports and dashboards.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in Enterprise Technology: Interest in enterprise technology, B2B business models, or corporate strategy is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and developments in these areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-LOB Project Management: Support the management of cross-LOB projects by tracking timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies. This includes ensuring that all project milestones are met and that any potential roadblocks are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Business Process Documentation: Assist in documenting key business processes such as order-to-cash flows, distributor roles, and cross-category execution models. This involves creating detailed and clear documentation that can be used by various teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Market, Channel, and Competitive Research: Conduct thorough research on market trends, channel dynamics, and competitive landscapes to support business development and strategy initiatives. This includes analyzing industry reports, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights.
  • Business Case Development: Aid in the development of business cases, forecasts, and performance metrics tied to new initiatives. This involves creating compelling business proposals that outline the potential benefits, risks, and financial implications of new projects.
  • Sales Pipeline Analysis: Analyze sales pipeline data and operational KPIs to support internal decision-making. This includes creating reports and dashboards that provide a clear picture of sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Executive Presentations: Prepare executive-ready presentations, summaries, and dashboards for leadership reviews. This involves synthesizing complex information into clear and concise formats that can be easily understood by senior executives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional meetings and help coordinate follow-ups and action items. This includes ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and that any agreed-upon actions are implemented effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency within the cross-LOB model. This involves analyzing current processes and proposing innovative solutions that can enhance productivity and reduce costs.
