The Corporate Strategy & Operations Analyst partners directly with the Chief Executive Officer and his executive team to support enterprise-wide budgeting, strategic planning, and performance monitoring initiatives. This role focuses on creating structure, visibility, and analytical rigor across departments. Responsibilities include company-wide budgeting coordination, financial and operational analysis, standardized reporting, and process development to ensure alignment with the Annual Financial Plan (AFP), Strategic Financial Plan (SFP), Strategic Planning Program (SPP), and Future Growth Opportunities (FGOs). The position serves as a cross-functional resource, working with department leaders to understand operational drivers, evaluate financial impact, and support informed decision-making. The role emphasizes proactive inquiry, disciplined evaluation of new initiatives, and the development of repeatable processes that improve organizational clarity and accountability. Partner with the Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership to advance company-wide strategic initiatives by applying data-driven analysis, structured problem-solving, and executive-level business storytelling to inform high-impact decisions. Support and analytically enhance the company-wide budgeting process by leveraging financial modeling and quantitative analysis techniques to align departmental plans with long-term strategic objectives. Assist in monitoring departmental performance against the Annual Financial Plan (AFP), Strategic Financial Plan (SFP), Strategic Planning Program (SPP), and Future Growth Opportunities (FGOs) by applying structured analytical frameworks, data visualization best practices, and data integrity principles to highlight key variances, emerging trends, and performance risks. Analyze monthly financial results, including P&L performance, using statistical reasoning, variance analysis methodologies, and predictive analytical techniques to identify root causes, quantify impact, and translate findings into clear business insights for department leaders and executive discussion. Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, compelling executive narratives through business storytelling, distilling technical findings into strategic insights for C-suite, Board, and shareholder discussions. Maintain professionalism and discretion given exposure to confidential financial, operational, and strategic information. All other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

Requirements

  • Strong financial and analytical foundation, including fluency in income statements, variance review, and budgeting principles.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency with the ability to structure models, synthesize data, and validate conclusions with sound judgment.
  • Comfortable leveraging business intelligence tools to interpret dashboards and performance metrics, with a working understanding of KPIs and data validation concepts; demonstrates willingness to deepen technical skills, including SQL, as needed.
  • Exhibits intellectual curiosity about casino operations and the discipline to connect operational drivers to financial outcomes.
  • Communicates complex insights clearly and concisely to executive and non-finance audiences, translating analysis into actionable narratives.
  • Demonstrates strong prioritization skills, professional discretion, attention to detail, and a high degree of learning agility when managing multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
