Responsibilities Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Business Office, and Decision Support in analyzing and monitoring the valuation of patient accounts receivables and credit balances for all hospitals and physician groups. Oversee the development, enhancement, and continuous standardization of the AR valuation models and process, assuring proper controls are in place to accurately estimate AR. Oversee and coach Analysts, Leads, Managers on the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Manage the preparation and distribution of monthly reporting, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy. Manage the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors. Manage the preparation of related footnote disclosures for financial statements. Ensure effective coordination with hospital Controllers, CFO’s and Business Office with the annual financial audit of the Revenue Cycle Process. Support month end and year end closing, as well as monthly review process. Identify process improvements to enhance financial reporting. Oversee data analysis to advise corporate management staff better ways to improve patient revenue. Provide support to other departments, such as Legal and Contracting, as it relates to open balances on patient claims and calculating reimbursement rates for Contracting negotiations. Develop or enhance training materials, memos, policies & procedures utilized by Corporate Finance. Recognizes and promotes the importance of transformation, process improvement, balancing enterprise, and reduce the variations. Other related duties and ad hoc/special projects, as needed.
