About The Position

The Corporate Security Specialist leads and manages the overall security and protection of the workplace including staff, contents and overall premises. This role provides expert level security administration knowledge to develop and maintain a secure access administration architecture for the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ related work experience.
  • Two years’ corporate security experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manages sensitive department security investigations including incidents of theft, burglary, intruders, and other threats.
  • Leads and manages the department's security incident process, to include review, investigation, recommendation and resolution of security matters.
  • Independently identify areas of non-compliance throughout the facility and proactively develop solutions appropriate to problem and business.
  • Supports the review and assessment of processes and controls with an emphasis on single points of failure.
  • Monitors, reports and assists in the development of control strategies and documentation.
  • Provides information and intelligence to assist in the development and management of the threat intelligence review process and planning.
  • Acts as liaison to local and federal authorities in the US and abroad with international law enforcement and intelligence counterparts, in-country security, and private sector security liaison partners.
  • Acts as a consultant to all organizational clients.
  • Shares knowledge and trains others in security administration policies, standards and architecture development.
  • May conduct security awareness training.
  • Manages the termination and suspension process for crew contractors, and consultants as directed by management.
  • Makes suggestions to the security game plan.
  • Carries out activities related to the department's security incident process including review, investigation, recommendation and resolution of security matters.
  • Supports sensitive department security investigations and recommends action.
  • Reviews security project designs and conducts onsite progress assessments.
  • Interfaces with the project team and user groups and coordinates the security aspects.
  • Supports the development and execution of the security response to Vanguard events including conducting an advance security review of the event.
  • Serves as a liaison with site security management.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
