We are currently hiring for Full & Part-Time Security Officer opportunities at a corporate client site in Franklin, MA . These roles involve maintaining a safe and secure environment, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, enforcing post procedures, and representing Securitas with professionalism, vigilance, and integrity. Current Openings: Pay Rate: $18.60/hourly Available Shifts: Full-Time: Mon–Fri, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (midnight) Part-Time: Sat–Sun, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Part-Time: Sat–Sun, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (midnight)

Requirements

Experience: Previous security or law enforcement experience is preferred, but not required.
Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and observational skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, patrol the facility, and respond to emergencies.

Nice To Haves

Certifications: Security guard certification or related training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Patrol and Monitoring: Regularly patrol the premises to help ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property. Monitor security cameras and alarms for suspicious activity. Gate duties and potentially some vehicle patrols.
Access Control: Manage and monitor access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the building. Check identification badges and maintain visitor logs.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Assist in resolving security-related issues and report findings to management.
Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations. Prepare and submit reports as required.
Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency procedures for evacuations, medical emergencies, and other critical situations. Work closely with local authorities when necessary.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with security-related policies, procedures, and regulations. Conduct routine security checks to identify potential risks or hazards.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and security personnel to support a coordinated approach to safety and security across the site.
