About The Position

The Corporate Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruiting for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. SHRMS Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential also a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of offer letters as needed for the HR department as well as any other tasks necessary for HR department assistance.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and compliance of renewable requirements during surveys and audits.
  • Maintains and audits the Applicant Tracking System daily.
  • Maintains job listings and open positions across recruitment platforms including but not limited to Indeed, Paycom, and LinkedIn.
  • Oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other HR staff during the offer process, start dates, and beginning the onboarding process as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Selects, screens, and schedules virtual and in-person interviews with hiring managers.
  • Assists Recruitment Manager in determining projected needs for staffing on a week-by-week basis.
  • Works in conjunction with contract and direct hire agencies and maintains vendor relations.
