About The Position

As a Corporate Production Planner, you’ll play a key role in making sure our products are made efficiently and available when customers need them. You’ll turn sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory data into practical production plans, working closely with plant teams and corporate partners to keep operations running smoothly. This is a highly collaborative, analytical role where your planning decisions directly support production efficiency, inventory health, and customer satisfaction. This is an individual contributor role No direct people management responsibilities Success comes from strong collaboration, problem-solving, and clear communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related supply chain role
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams at all levels
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Follow all company and departmental safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Build production plans: Create weekly and monthly production plans using sales forecasts, customer orders, inventory levels, and available materials to meet demand efficiently.
  • Support capacity planning: Model production line capacity scenarios and share insights that help plants plan staffing and line utilization.
  • Partner with Sales: Analyze demand and key sales indicators to provide insights that support forecasting and informed P&L decisions.
  • Improve forecast accuracy: Develop and refine demand planning strategies to improve forecast reliability over time.
  • Manage inventory insights: Analyze inventory utilization and prepare clear reports for stakeholders Identify and communicate variances and risks (e.g., excess, expired, or distressed inventory)
  • Support inventory optimization and pre-build initiatives Analyze performance: Compare actual production results against plan (pounds, throughput, yields), identify variances, and communicate findings to the right teams.
  • Coordinate materials: Work closely with Sales, procurement, raw material planners, and schedulers to resolve material constraints and avoid production disruptions.
  • Support new product launches: Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure materials, capacity, and staffing are in place for successful launches.
  • Assist with logistics: Support planning efforts to ensure orders are fulfilled on time with efficient load utilization.
  • Contribute as needed: Take on additional related projects or responsibilities as business needs evolve.
