About The Position

O-I Glass is seeking a skilled, safety-conscious and team oriented pilot to join our corporate aviation team, based in Toledo, Ohio. The individual must be flexible and willing to work in an on-demand, unscheduled corporate flight operation. SCOPE AND IMPACT Responsible to work with the Aircraft Operations Team, Executive Assistants, and passengers to operate company aircraft and facilitate the safe and efficient travel of O-I Glass executives. O-I Glass flight operations currently operates a G-450 in worldwide operations , with intense focus on Europe and Latin/South America As part of our long established flight department, the pilot candidate will be part of a highly professional and dedicated team. The flight team enjoys the benefits of a dedicated hangar facility and full time, in house maintenance staffing and scheduling support.

Requirements

  • At least one type rating for a turbine aircraft, G450/550 preferred
  • 2,000 total time.
  • Minimum of 500 hours Multi Engine
  • PIC turbine hours preferred.
  • International experience preferred.
  • Where permitted by applicable law, to be considered for this role, candidates must have received or be willing to receive all vaccinations required by the countries to which we travel by date of hire, if not currently employed by O-I Glass, Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that the flight complies with all FAA, ICAO, local rules, regulations, company SOP’s and policies.
  • Coordination with the rest of the aircraft operations team, maintenance and passengers to provide optimized customer service levels.
  • Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of all pertinent regulations, AFM, appropriate FAA publications, company policy and procedures.
  • Maintain and promote a culture of safety and efficiency, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
  • Must be willing to relocate within 60 minutes of the KTOL airport.
  • Holds a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate issued by the FAA.
  • Holds a FAA First Class Medical.
  • Successfully completes the manufacturer’s approved ground and flight training program for the aircraft.
  • Successfully complete manufacturer’s approved semi-annual recurrent training program.
  • Must be willing to relocate within 60 minutes of the airport.
  • Qualified for worldwide operations
