About The Position

As part of Intersect’s Legal team, you’ll help build and safeguard the corporate foundation that powers our growth at the intersection of electrification, digitalization, and decarbonization. Your work will strengthen corporate governance, ensure contract integrity, and support cross-functional teams operating in a dynamic energy and software-enabled environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining entity compliance, managing board materials, and ensuring commercial agreements are organized, accurate, and accessible. You’ll collaborate closely with legal, finance, and business stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly while upholding the highest standards of integrity and precision.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience as a corporate paralegal, ideally within energy, infrastructure, technology, or software-enabled organizations
  • Proven experience supporting corporate governance, entity management, and compliance filings
  • Strong contract administration skills with exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Slack, contract management platforms, and document management systems
  • Experience managing confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
  • A highly organized and self-directed work style, paired with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • A calm, steady presence under pressure and a service-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and compliance requirements; familiarity with regulatory considerations impacting energy and technology-driven companies is a plus
  • A professional network of legal professionals, outside counsel, and compliance partners that supports efficient issue resolution

Responsibilities

  • Manage entity records, corporate minute books, and governance documentation across the organization
  • Prepare, organize, and distribute board and committee materials with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support corporate filings and compliance requirements to ensure entities remain in good standing
  • Draft, review, and organize commercial contracts in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within contract management and document management systems
  • Track key contract terms, deadlines, and obligations to reduce risk and improve visibility
  • Partner with legal, finance, and business teams to support transactions, compliance efforts, and operational needs
  • Serve as a reliable point of coordination between internal teams and outside counsel
  • Help refine processes and systems that improve efficiency in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment
