YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY: The Corporate Operational Controller directs the entire operations accounting function. This senior leadership role oversees the operations accounting for the organization and manages a team of 2–4 Assistant Controllers. The position serves as the primary architect for the department’s talent strategy and acts as the critical link for communicating financial risks and opportunities to the executive team. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Financial Oversight: Owns the complete revenue and margin recognition cycle, enterprise-level over/under billing strategy, and full-cycle cash flow forecasting. Strategic Reporting: Synthesizes KPIs to identify enterprise trends, assesses organizational risk, and communicates net income and overhead forecasts for all operations to senior leadership. Operational Partnership: Reviews project revenue and cost projections with Operations Managers and supports leadership in planning for shifts in project volume. Talent Management: Leads succession planning, hiring, and onboarding for the operations accounting team, ensuring full role utilization and professional growth through delegation. Process & Governance: Establishes internal control frameworks and departmental policies. Drives automation and the integration of new financial technologies. The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. Requirements

  • Expert-level GAAP knowledge, specifically ASC 606 for long-term construction projects.
  • Sophisticated understanding of EPC, Electrical Subcontracting, and Manufacturing business units.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Business Suite or similar ERP packages.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 7 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CCIFP certification strongly preferred.
