About The Position

Corporate M&A Associate Attorney –| $175k–$250k BASE SALARY| - Chicago, IL Aligned Talent Acquisition partners with several respected mid-sized and boutique law firms throughout Chicago and the surrounding metro area that regularly hire Corporate and M&A attorneys. This posting represents ongoing hiring needs across our client base as firms continue to expand their transactional teams in response to increased deal flow and private company activity. We’re connecting with attorneys in the 3–7 year range who have strong experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, or general corporate work and are open to confidential discussions about new opportunities.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; Illinois bar admission required or pending
• 3–7 years of experience in corporate or transactional law
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong academic credentials and client-service mindset

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate corporate, M&A, and joint venture agreements
• Advise clients on entity formation, capitalization, and governance issues
• Manage due diligence and closing processes for transactions
• Collaborate with partners on client strategy, deal structuring, and execution
