The Corporate Investigator is responsible for conducting internal investigations, requiring a strong foundation in investigation principles and case analysis to effectively communicate findings. A critical component of the role involves monitoring and auditing incoming data for potential threats, evaluating personnel security information, and collecting data for centralized analysis, reporting, and response. This position involves close collaboration with Senior Investigators, Legal Counsel, Human Resources, the Cyber Security Team, and other stakeholders. Furthermore, the Corporate Investigator will be an active participant in developing and enforcing enterprise-wide standards to protect internal information and assets. Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week, subject to case load and volume of work. This role reports to our office in Alpharetta, Georgia. This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support. This is a direct-hire role and is not open to C2C or vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred (Willing to consider experience that aligns closely to all requirements w/out a degree).
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in corporate security, law enforcement, information security, intelligence, or similar positions.
  • Knowledge of security principles, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of DLP Tools, Google Suite, Access Control systems, and video surveillance platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience collecting Open Source Intelligence.
  • Experience conducting interviews with individuals.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish / Portuguese).
  • Industry recognized training (CFI, Wicklander-Zulawski, Reid, ASIS, ATAP).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal investigations into violations of Equifax policies.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly metrics, and report on findings.
  • Analyze data and synthesize findings into easy-to-understand, actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct in-person or remote interviews with persons of interest and witnesses.
  • Participate in incident response.
  • Ensure timely, impactful, and consistent collaboration with teams throughout Equifax.
  • This role requires working in an "On Call" capacity and may involve some travel.
