Role Summary As a Corporate Intern in the Operations & Technology Risk Department, you’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting the bank’s risk management framework. You’ll work on real projects involving Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), regulatory requirements, and executive risk reporting. This internship is a great opportunity to develop analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while learning how risk and compliance drive operational excellence in financial services

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program (sophomore, junior, or senior standing).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Interest in risk management, auditing, compliance, or business operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree student (sophomore, junior, or senior standing).
  • Up to 2 years of related experience in an academic or business setting.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards, internal controls, or audit processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating, reviewing, and maintaining SOX documentation to support compliance.
  • Participate in compliance and audit activities to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and suggest opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify potential risks, trends, and process enhancements.
  • Support preparation of executive-level risk presentations and reports for senior leadership.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on audit and examination findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen risk awareness across the organization.
