Atlantic Union’s Enterprise Internship program is a professional development opportunity for local students to gain practical work experience, helping students become better prepared to enter into the financial industry post-graduation. Students have the ability to build professional networks and receive training and mentoring throughout the program. Atlantic Union’s Finance Intern Program is designed to give college students an introduction into financial analysis, treasury, financial reporting and accounting It is our intent to give the Intern real assignments. Assignments that stretch the Intern, provide the Intern with valuable experience, and allow the Intern to contribute to the Finance Department. Position Accountabilities The Intern is provided assignments that include the risk management and efficiency activities in the Corporate Treasury, operational and reporting assignments in the Financial Accounting group. The intern will also get the opportunity to: Complete a specific assignment related to implementation of the Corporate Treasury group’s risk management framework. Shadow and perform different types work in the Financial Accounting group. Shadow and perform different types work in the Corporate Treasury group. Gain exposure and attend Finance related committee meetings (ALCO, Deposit Pricing etc.) Organizational Relationship This position reports to the Corporate Treasurer and has a hybrid residency.
