Atlantic Union’s Summer Internship program is a professional development opportunity for local students to gain practical work experience, helping students become better prepared to enter into the financial industry post-graduation. Students have the ability to build professional networks, and receive training and mentoring throughout the program. Atlantic Union’s Bank Operations Intern Program is designed to give college students an introduction into internal auditing. It is our intent to give the Intern real assignments. Assignments that stretch the Intern, provide the Intern with valuable experience, and allow the Intern to contribute to the Payment Operations Department. Position Accountabilities The Intern is provided with assignments that include the entire Payment Operations Management support member. The intern will also get the opportunity to: Shadow daily Payment Operation activities. Shadow and perform project tracking and updates. Shadow and perform scheduling of key meetings pertaining to project assignments. Shadow and perform testing of product enhancements. Shadow and perform deployment of updates tied to project closure.
