About The Position

Faire is looking for a Corporate Finance Senior Associate to own the consolidated balance sheet, cash flow, and equity modeling and forecasting. This role will ensure that key internal and external partners, ranging from senior executives to board members, have the insights and reporting needed to drive strategic decisions. The mission of the Corporate Finance team is to maximize Faire’s long-term value by translating business strategy into well-defined financial plans, reporting, and analysis that support business execution and decision-making. This team closely partners with the CFO and other senior leaders cross-functionally on financial budgeting, planning and forecasting to ultimately drive the best outcomes for the business.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking with 3+ years of direct Corporate Finance experience. Experience as a finance business partner to People/HR functions is a strong plus.
  • Strong business & financial acumen with understanding of technology or marketplace business models. Maintains a high bar for separating signal from noise.
  • Headcount and workforce planning expertise with experience designing or managing headcount planning processes, tools, and policies at scale.
  • Strong financial analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize data and metrics to tell a compelling story, and tailor content to different audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to structure and manage complex cross-functional projects.
  • Sharp attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the finance business partner to leadership across the People organization, including Recruiting, HR, and Compensation, providing financial analysis, decision support, and appropriate challenge.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve headcount planning tools, policies, and approval frameworks that enable the business to manage its most significant resource investment.
  • Own the company-wide headcount reporting and forecasting process, including headcount variance analysis, cost modeling, and workforce planning insights for leadership.
  • Partner with People leadership on compensation benchmarking analysis, benefits cost modeling, and other people-related financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that provide leadership with clear visibility into people-related spend, productivity, and investment efficiency.
  • Contribute to communications and key corporate reporting requirements to executives and board members (e.g. P&L, performance KPI tracking).
  • Continuously improve and standardize reporting frameworks, systems, and processes across the corporate finance function.
