About The Position

How YOU Will Contribute Utilize project management tools to track goals, timelines, budgets, and implement corrective actions when needed. Coordinate and manage engineering design firms and contractors, ensuringpliance with LOF policies and procedures. Act as the primary interface between the plant and business for scheduling work. Foster cross-functional collaboration and accountability while driving project execution. Provide electrical/controls leadership for capital projects and ensure projects meet operational expectations within budget and schedule constraints. Ensurepliance with OSHA safety standards and integrate proper safety devices into designs. Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency projects across all plants. Develop project justifications, including ROI analysis. Lead efforts in process automation and integrate new technologies and data analytics into LOF processes. Investigate opportunities for process improvement through technology and automation. Interface with corporate engineering teams, vendors, and plant personnel to implement system design improvements. Maintain knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations, sanitary design, NAMI food safety standards, ergonomics, process controls, and automation. Provide troubleshooting support for electrical and control systems and train maintenance technicians in PLC programming. Ensure efficient operation of process and packaging systems andpliance with LOF standards. About YOU Minimum 5 years in electrical controls. Associate degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years experience (Bachelor's preferred). Ability to obtain local electrician license. Experience in Electrical Engineering in a manufacturing environment, food manufacturing preferred. Experience in Circuit Design. Experience in PLC/HMI Programming. Experience in Network Integration for Process Control. Up to 10% (local and overnight)

  • Minimum 5 years in electrical controls.
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years experience (Bachelor's preferred).
  • Ability to obtain local electrician license.
  • Experience in Electrical Engineering in a manufacturing environment, food manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience in Circuit Design.
  • Experience in PLC/HMI Programming.
  • Experience in Network Integration for Process Control.
