About The Position

The Corporate Distribution Manager shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Conduct ongoing route analysis across all Hiland Dairy divisions that will provide customer satisfaction while ensuring the most efficient results are realized. Attention to the adherence of company, customer, and regulatory rules and regulations is essential.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • (S)he will be required to sit and stand for long periods of time. Will be required to lift and move large amounts of product). Will be required to stoop, bend, and reach above the head and below the knees to file and retrieve data and product. May be required to enter the cooler, a cool and wet environment, and the freezer, a very cold environment (less than 20 degrees below zero) and crawl, twist and turn and move and carry objects as much as 40 pounds.
  • Previous experience in management or supervision capacity.
  • Mid-level experience of this type of work 2-3 years minimum.
  • Experience with DSD route sales
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, with travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Distribution with all facets of Distribution operations with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing and implementing route profitability format across all Hiland locations.
  • Work cross functionally on special projects.
  • Learn a new ERP system and support Corporate/ SOAR type projects.
  • Ensure all Department of Transportation rules and regulations are followed.
  • Support with employee development across all Divisions.
  • Make recommendations on fleet specs with focus on standardizing the fleet while meeting the various customer/location needs.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
