About The Position

Ebenezer Senior Living is growing—and elevating how residents connect, thrive, and feel at home. We’re hiring a Corporate Director of Resident Engagement & Integrated Programs to unify and scale the programs that define our brand and resident experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, Social Services, Child Development, or related field; Master’s preferred (Gerontology, Healthcare Admin, Recreation Therapy, or related).
  • 7+ years leading enrichment/engagement programs across multisite or related settings, with proven results in innovation, leadership, and budget management.
  • Experience with evidence-based practice in engagement, dementia support, or wellness, plus strong project leadership for complex initiatives.
  • A confident presenter (industry conferences), and a collaborative influencer across functions.

Nice To Haves

  • CTRS, ADC/ADPC, CDP or similar certifications
  • Multisite senior living/healthcare experience
  • Intergenerational/childcare program leadership
  • Familiarity with Minnesota regulations for ADS, childcare, AL/MC, and SNF enrichment

Responsibilities

  • Lead a unified engagement portfolio across Life Enrichment, Dimensions (memory support), Intergenerational Programming, Adult Day Services, Childcare Centers, Wellness, and Volunteer Programs—with clear standards, playbooks, and room to innovate.
  • Consistent policies, procedures, competencies, and practice guidelines—plus site assessments and audits that raise quality and readiness everywhere.
  • Interdisciplinary integration with nursing, social services, culinary, rehab, spiritual care, and more—so engagement is part of everyday care, not an addon.
  • People leadership: coaching and developing Life Enrichment Directors, ADS and Childcare leaders, the Dimensions team, and volunteer coordinators—building a strong community of practice.
  • Innovation & evidence-based practice: from research-backed frameworks to pilot programs with clear outcomes and ROI.
  • External partnerships & visibility: schools, universities, community orgs, arts and cultural partners, and industry events that showcase Ebenezer as a leader in engagement and dementia care.
  • Budget stewardship across staffing, supplies, training, and capital, with a sharp eye for efficiency and grants.
  • A resident-centered approach that strengthens family involvement, volunteerism, inclusion, and community integration.

Benefits

  • Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
