About The Position

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals is looking for a Corporate Director of Outpatient Services to join our team. NPH is the national leader in providing medical and neurobehavioral care to patients in acute psychiatric distress. You will be joining a team of rock star staff who provide exceptional, patient-centered care and understand our patients are always our number one priority! Corporate Director of Outpatient Services functions under the general supervision and direction of the Chief Executive Officer and designated executive leadership to provide strategic leadership, development, and oversight of outpatient service lines across NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating outpatient clinical programming to ensure services meet the needs of each facility and its surrounding community. Provides consultation related to clinical programming, operational workflows, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and budgetary management for outpatient services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related healthcare field required.
  • LCSW, LPC, or other independent clinical licensure required. Must maintain applicable licensure in good standing.
  • Five (5) years of clinical experience in outpatient, partial hospitalization, or acute inpatient setting.
  • Two (2) years of leadership experience in behavioral health required. Multi-site or multi-state oversight highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health outpatient program development and operations
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, clinical program evaluation, and budget oversight
  • Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Experience integrating evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ability to analyze performance data and implement action plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to function independently and provide leadership across multiple markets
  • Strong relationship-building skills with community partners and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 50% required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading and overseeing outpatient programs, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) services preferred.
  • Multi-site or multi-state oversight highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identifies market opportunities and, in collaboration with administration, oversees planning, development, and implementation of outpatient service lines specific to each facility.
  • Develops strategic goals and objectives to ensure strong clinical and fiscal performance of outpatient programs.
  • Assists in development of business development and marketing strategies to strengthen referral management and community partnerships.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
  • Provides onsite consultation and operational support to facilities.
  • Assists with recruitment, selection, and onboarding of Outpatient Directors.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness and develops workflows and performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Monitors budget performance and participates in expense management discussions.
  • Expands specialty programming, including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient clinic services.
  • Integrates evidence-based practices and ensures quality performance improvement and outcome analysis.
  • Develops and promotes continuity of care models that support patient safety and reduce recidivism.
  • Establishes efficient referral management and transition of care processes.
  • Creates and maintains data management systems to support performance analysis.
  • Leads meetings and collaboration efforts with outpatient leaders across facilities.
  • Strengthens community partnerships to support outpatient service growth.
  • Participates in organizational leadership activities to promote cohesiveness and alignment with NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals’ mission.
