Position Summary: As a Senior Manager, Corporate Development, you will drive forward established inorganic opportunities and ensure successful execution. This role plays a critical part in executing inorganic transactions at CVS Health. As a member of the Corporate Development team, you’ll help shape the company’s growth strategy through acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and recapitalizations. In this role, you will be working closely with business segment leaders, business CFOs and enablement functions, Corporate Development being responsible for: Maintaining an inorganic strategy and pipeline of opportunities Facilitating the process to buy, sell, and recapitalize strategically important assets Reporting on the performance of previous transactions to internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • 7 years of overall relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of related experience in banking, private equity, strategy, finance, accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of of management experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% (including plane)

  • Ability to lead multiple work streams in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Proven project management skills with emphasis on integrating outputs into unified deliverables
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong judgment
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and business information of target companies to assess strategic fit.
  • Build financial models, valuation, accretion/dilution analysis and leverage impacts.
  • Lead due diligence and support transaction negotiations, collaborating with internal teams (Business, finance, Legal, HR) and external partners (investment banks, diligence providers).
  • Develop executive-ready materials for senior leadership and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Support ad-hoc projects aligned with executive leadership’s goals
