About The Position

The Corporate Development Manager will play a critical role in executing Loenbro’s inorganic growth strategy by owning the full lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions—from initial target identification through deal execution and post-close integration handoff. This individual will independently manage a personal M&A pipeline aligned to Loenbro’s strategic priorities, serving as the primary driver of sourcing, valuation, diligence, deal structuring, and execution. This role requires a highly analytical, relationship-driven professional with prior experience in mergers and acquisitions, ideally within construction or industrial services. The Corporate Development Manager will work directly with business owners, senior leadership, the Board, and cross-functional partners to evaluate opportunities, present investment recommendations, and successfully close transactions. The ideal candidate brings a background in investment banking, M&A advisory, or transaction due diligence, and thrives in a hands-on environment with high ownership, visibility, and impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance from an Accredited College or University
  • 4+ years of Merger and Acquisition experience

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end M&A process, managing all phases of transactions from sourcing and initial outreach through valuation, diligence, deal execution, and post-close handoff to the integration team.
  • Develop and manage a proprietary M&A pipeline aligned with Loenbro’s long-term growth strategy through proactive prospecting and relationship building with business owners and intermediaries.
  • Lead initial financial and operational assessments, including valuation modeling, deal structuring, and investment thesis development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for target company owners, building trust and guiding discussions from first meeting through signed agreements.
  • Prepare and present investment materials for internal leadership and Board review, including LOI recommendations and transaction approvals.
  • Lead comprehensive due diligence efforts post-LOI, coordinating cross-functional internal teams and third-party advisors to evaluate financial, operational, legal, and commercial risks.
  • Coordinate the drafting, negotiation, and execution of transaction documents, including purchase agreements and related closing materials.
  • Partner closely with the integration team, supporting integration diligence and ensuring a smooth transition and handoff following deal close.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
