This program equips participants with essential skills, knowledge, and connections through workplace orientation, team integration, and targeted training sessions, ensuring a smooth transition into their new role. This full-time, onsite role is based in the Dallas Office at the Link: 2601 Olive Street, Dallas, TX. The Corporate Development (M&A and Investments) Analyst is an entry-level position ideal for recent graduates, playing a key role in supporting deal evaluation, execution, integration, and strategic projects across the M&A and investment lifecycle. As part of the Launch Program, the analyst will be part of a small cohort receiving hands-on training.

Requirements

  • Will graduate in the Spring of 2026 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Brings a strong interest in M&A and investing, investment banking, or corporate finance, supported by relevant coursework or internships.
  • Demonstrates a high level of maturity and discretion, especially when handling confidential or high-visibility matters.
  • Has proven leadership experience in extracurricular activities or previous roles, demonstrating the ability to drive project success.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Has foundational knowledge of financial analysis, including exposure to financial modeling, valuation concepts, and financial statement analysis through coursework or internships.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite.
  • Can manage multiple priorities and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Embraces a growth mindset, seeks learning opportunities, and tackles challenges with creative solutions.
  • Shows adaptability and agility, with a readiness to navigate ambiguity and welcome new challenges.

  • Familiarity with financial modeling tools or databases, such as Pitchbook, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead market mapping exercises, identifying potential acquisition targets and market trends.
  • Assist in evaluating potential M&A and investment targets by preparing valuation models, sensitivity analyses, and concise financial summaries.
  • Maintain internal databases of reviewed opportunities and help track target pipelines.
  • Participate in the full deal lifecycle from LOI through diligence and integration to ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal and external diligence advisors to support due diligence and reporting.
  • Help manage communications, documentation, and materials for high-level meetings with senior leaders.
  • Prepare offer letters, purchase accounting entries, and post-close schedules (earnout, escrow, working capital adjustments).
  • Support ad hoc strategic projects, such as internal financial reviews or advising emerging business units.
  • Regularly engage with senior leaders and be trusted to handle sensitive information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Contribute meaningfully in high-stakes environments where poise, confidentiality, and thoughtful presence are essential.
