About The Position

As a PDQ Corporate Development Intern, you will have an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience working on strategic growth initiatives and M&A deals. You will work closely with the Head of Corporate Development, with exposure as well to the CEO, CFO, and other members of the management team and finance team. This internship encompasses not only hands-on experience but also professional development sessions, engaging events and opportunities to network with PDQ leadership and other teams. Please note this is a hybrid role open to candidates in the Salt Lake City, UT area. Internship Dates: June 1 - August 27, 2026 (12 week internship).

Requirements

  • Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with team members
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy and responsibility
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Aptitude for math and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Undergraduate, majoring in finance, accounting, economics, strategy or a related field
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.5
  • Must be able to work 10-20 hours per week, between June-August 2026

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or private equity is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supporting M&A and strategic partnership evaluations through market research, competitive analysis, and new deal sourcing
  • Participate in due diligence processes, including reviewing business, financial, and operational data as well as financial modeling and valuation analyses to support investment decisions
  • Prepare presentations and reports for the senior leadership team and board to summarize findings and recommendations on acquisitions and strategic decisions
  • Assist in other projects supporting product strategy and operations
