About The Position

The Corporate Development team partners closely with senior leadership to drive Cloud Software Group’s most critical strategic initiatives. The team leads all aspects of the M&A lifecycle, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments, and also supports broader corporate strategy initiatives such as long-range planning, capital allocation, and cross-functional value creation efforts. We are seeking an Associate to own and support a range of strategic and analytical workstreams. This role provides regular exposure to senior leadership and business unit executives and the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Product, Operations, and Legal. The Associate will contribute to evaluating strategic opportunities, supporting transaction processes, and developing financial models, valuation analyses, and analytical frameworks used to inform major strategic and capital allocation decisions across the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 2 - 5 years in a relevant analytical role
  • strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, experience building financial models and conducting valuation analysis, ability to synthesize complex information and communicate insights clearly, strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams, comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analysis : Develop financial and operational analyses to support key decision-making. Build financial models and analytical frameworks used to evaluate acquisitions, partnerships, and internal strategic initiatives
  • Transaction Execution : Support the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions, strategic investments, and partnerships. Contribute to valuation analysis, financial due diligence, and coordination of cross-functional diligence workstreams (Legal, HR, Product, Finance, etc.)
  • Executive Materials : Prepare investment memoranda, transaction summaries, strategic analyses, and presentation materials used in discussions with senior leadership to support key strategic and capital allocation decisions
  • Pipeline Development : Help maintain the company’s deal pipeline by identifying, screening, and evaluating potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support opportunity assessment
