About The Position

The Corporate Development Analyst will be responsible for supporting the company’s growth strategy by analyzing acquisition opportunities, market trends, and internal performance data to inform corporate development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics or Statistics (required).
  • Experience in M&A transaction support, analysis, or and due diligence processes.
  • Strong financial analysis skills with a high level of proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and assess business performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly.
  • Strong research skills for analyzing industry trends, market dynamics, and potential targets.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or M&A pipeline tracking tools (preferred).
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
  • Background in a service-based, multi-location environment (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in the lawn care, landscaping, or pest control industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing acquisition and partnership opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Assists in evaluation of financial statements, due diligence, market research, and integration planning to support the company’s M&A pipeline and strategic projects.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to identify and evaluate potential targets, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making and the execution of the company’s expansion strategy.
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess potential acquisitions, including forecasting, valuation, and return analyses.
  • Support due diligence processes, including managing third party diligence providers’ workstreams and timelines for deliverables
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and potential growth opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing investment committee materials, presentations, and deal summaries for senior leadership.
  • Track and maintain the corporate development pipeline, ensuring accurate and current data on opportunities.
  • Support post-acquisition integration planning by providing financial and operational analyses as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and corporate functional teams to support deal execution and integration.
  • Monitor and report on industry developments and competitor activities to inform corporate strategy.
  • Assist with other strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned to support the company’s growth and development goals.
