About The Position

EnerMech, a global leader in integrated solutions for the energy and industrial sectors, is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Development Analyst to support strategic initiatives across our global business. This role offers hands-on exposure to strategic planning, financial modeling, market analysis, and board-level communications, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in corporate strategy and finance within the energy industry. As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will work closely with the Head of Corporate Development and leadership teams across multiple business units to support key strategic priorities. Responsibilities include assisting with the development of annual business plans, performing detailed financial modeling and analysis, and preparing high-quality presentations for Board and Shareholder meetings. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a high level of self-direction, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Heavy use of Excel and PowerPoint is expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing executive level materials.
  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to high impact projects.
  • Coursework in corporate finance, valuation, or strategic management.
  • Experience with research or analysis-based projects.
  • Familiarity with energy, oil & gas, or industrial services sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and development of annual and long-range Business Plans for corporate and business unit leadership.
  • Build and maintain financial models, including scenario analysis, forecasting, valuations, and project economics.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support corporate strategy projects, M&A evaluations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare presentation materials and dashboards for Executive Leadership, Board of Directors, and Shareholders.
  • Assist with market research, competitive landscape assessments, and strategic insights for growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Operations, and Commercial—to gather data and ensure accuracy of analyses.
  • Support ad hoc strategic projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility, curiosity, and initiative.
