The Corporate Counsel will provide strategic and hands-on legal support across a range of commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–3 years of post-bar experience to deepen their skills in healthcare technology and private equity–backed business operations. The ideal candidate thrives in an agile, business-oriented environment, balancing legal risk with business objectives.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school; member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 2–3 years of legal experience, ideally in a combination of law firm and in-house roles.
  • Experience with commercial contracting, healthcare or technology transactions, and data privacy compliance.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, or similar privacy and security regulations.
  • Strong business judgment, commercial acumen, and ability to work directly with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, statements of work, NDAs, business associate agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Support the company’s compliance programs, including HIPAA, data privacy, and emerging AI regulatory frameworks.
  • Advise internal business teams on day-to-day legal questions related to operations, product development, and HR matters.
  • Assist with due diligence, corporate governance, and other transactions common in a private equity portfolio environment.
  • Collaborate closely with senior executives (CEO, CRO, CTO, CIO, etc) and act as a trusted partner to ensure business initiatives are legally sound and strategically aligned.
  • Help implement scalable legal processes and technology-enabled workflows to support a growing organization.
