About The Position

Requirements

  • Active CPA certification (non-negotiable)
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting or Finance
  • 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in an accounting management role
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP in manufacturing environments
  • Advanced Excel skills including Power Pivot and financial modeling
  • SQL query proficiency for data extraction and analysis
  • ERP system expertise (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Visual Mfg, or D365 preferred)
  • Strategic thinker who can operate at both 30,000-foot and ground level
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments
  • Problem-solver who brings judgment and asks the right questions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BI tools (Qlikview, Power Query, Tableau) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive corporate accounting compliance with U.S. GAAP standards
  • Oversee comprehensive financial reporting from daily operations to annual audits
  • Manage treasury activities across US and international operations
  • Lead business analysis, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives
  • Champion financial and operational improvements that drive bottom-line results
  • Optimize our ERP system and lead strategic expansions
  • Strengthen internal controls across financial reporting, payroll, inventory, and manufacturing
  • Leverage SQL databases to unlock data insights for key stakeholders
  • Develop training programs that elevate team capabilities
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team
  • Create documentation and best practices that ensure consistent excellence
  • Coach team members through goal-setting and professional development
  • Manage international plant accounting activities and ensure global compliance
