About The Position

Arlington is seeking a strategic and hands-on Corporate Communications Manager to lead and shape our corporate brand presence across all business lines, including Arlington Holdings, Construction, Development, PBS, and Property Management. This role is responsible for corporate public relations, executive communications, employer branding, reputation management, and oversight of corporate digital platforms. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a strong executor — someone who can craft compelling messaging at the executive level while managing day-to-day communications initiatives that elevate our brand internally and externally. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or PR
  • Experience leading corporate brand strategy and executive communications
  • Strong writing and editing skills, including executive-level messaging
  • Experience managing multi-channel digital communications
  • Working knowledge of SEO, website governance, and analytics
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, with experience producing executive-level communications.
  • Must demonstrate strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive or confidential communications.
  • Must be highly organized, self-directed, and capable of balancing strategic work with day-to-day execution.
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment, including a computer with internet and email capabilities, printer, scanner, telephone, facsimile, and photocopier.
  • Additionally, strong competency is required in content management systems (such as WordPress), social media management platforms (like Hootsuite), email marketing tools (such as Mailchimp), analytics platforms (like Google Analytics), and collaboration or project management tools (such as Microsoft Teams or Asana).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with reputation management or employer branding is a plus
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience with reputation management, employer branding, or corporate storytelling is preferred.
  • CPA and/or MBA or Master’s level graduate degree preferred.
  • Valid drivers’ license, along with a good driving record along with auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop executive bios, thought leadership content, and corporate messaging
  • Support leadership with messaging for interviews, panels, presentations, and conferences
  • Lead corporate internal communications, including newsletter strategy
  • Lead all corporate PR initiatives, including press releases and media outreach
  • Build and maintain industry media relationships
  • Identify award submissions and recognition opportunities
  • Support speaking engagements, podcasts, and industry visibility
  • Develop crisis communication plans and response protocols
  • Serve as steward of Arlington’s corporate brand
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure consistency across vendors and teams
  • Oversee corporate signage, materials, and messaging alignment
  • Own corporate website and intranet content and governance
  • Monitor performance analytics and SEO optimization
  • Ensure content quality and brand consistency
  • Manage corporate social media strategy and execution
  • Develop content supporting brand awareness and leadership visibility
  • Lead corporate reputation strategy across platforms
  • Partner with HR on employer branding and engagement campaigns
  • Support business development with presentations and collateral
  • Track competitor positioning and messaging
  • Assist with corporate conferences, events, and associate initiatives
