About the role: As part of Wellmark's Corporate Communications team, the Corporate Communications Manager – Strategic Initiatives will support creating and implementing communications strategies reaching internal and external audiences. This includes providing strategic consultation to executive leaders and cross-functional teams to communicate initiatives with a consistent narrative across a variety of channels using a planful approach. You will be expected to help identify performance measures and optimize activations to achieve success, foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders as a strategic communications partner, and collaborate across the the organization to build and protect Wellmark’s reputation. About You: Ideal candidates are exceptional storytellers who can craft content strategies to motivate audiences to take action. You are a natural collaborator and connector: you have a demonstrated history of building productive and meaningful relationships with people at all levels, from an internal peer to a senior leader to a media representative. You have a deep understanding of the methods of measurement and how metrics can be used to shape a story and drive change.
