As a member of AT&T’s Corporate Communications team, this entry-level internship is a rotational program that spans approximately 14 weeks. This program will offer candidates exposure to key areas of Corporate Communications. This dynamic program will allow you to learn the fundamentals of communications and gain experience working with external media. What you’ll do: Participate in mentorship opportunities and interaction with leaders within the department and the company. Experience working on key communications efforts including social media, digital content, press releases, white papers, speeches, internal and external communications, and other projects. Work on developing and executing tactical communications programs.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented students with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to help drive results.
  • Creativity and collaboration skills are a must, along with the flexibility to work both independently and in a group environment.
  • Ability to be naturally curious about the many innovations being fostered at AT&T, and willing to network and build relationships that will benefit your career.
  • We also value a strong GPA and academic achievements.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent graduate with a degree focus in journalism, public relations, communications are preferred. Adjacent degrees can be considered.
  • Interest in media relations and experience working with external stakeholders is a plus.
  • Previous relevant internship experience with media relations.
  • We also value a strong GPA and academic achievements.
