The Corporate Communications team is responsible for defining, articulating, and creatively expressing our company brand by bringing our purpose and mission to life while also promoting and protecting the company’s reputation. The Corporate Communications team spans the company’s positioning & messaging, content & blogs, brand strategy, web properties, social media, events and more. The team works cross-functionally to lead global efforts and initiatives while also supporting key stakeholders such as Public Relations , Corporate Responsibility, Internal Communications, and Investor Relations. We are an AI-forward team , continuously exploring how AI can enhance our storytelling, workflows, and impact while upholding our brand standards and commitment to responsible use. The Corporate Communications Internship offers an opportunity for current college or graduate students, or recent grads to gain valuable work experience through high-visibility, value-add projects throughout the Global Marketing Organization, with a strong focus on supporting Corporate Communications and Corporate Marketing. Interns participate in Gen-sponsored team-building activities and internal team meetings with executives and end their assignment with a showcase of their projects. Throughout the internship, you will be encouraged to bring an AI-first mindset , using Gen-approved AI tools to research, ideate, draft, and optimize work while applying strong judgment and critical thinking. Assigned projects can include but are not limited to: Partner with the PR team on media-focused initiatives, including drafting and editing press materials (e.g., media pitches, press releases, briefing documents), conducting journalist and outlet research, and monitoring media coverage. Support preparation for executive speaking opportunities and events, including research, messaging support, and AI-assisted drafting of talking points and briefing documents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the launch and management of a new company website. Focus areas may include content and creative development, SEO, content strategy , and overall project plan management. Work with creative teams to help develop various brand and marketing assets including videos, social media graphics, internal and external comms , and more. Responsibilities include creative briefs, asset reviews, and publishing. Work with external agencies and vendors to support work across team priorities, including PR agencies and media-monitoring partners. Assist with social media programs , including planning and drafting executive LinkedIn content, coordinating content calendars, and supporting influencer/creator programs. Leverage Gen-approved AI tools to: Conduct research and synthesize insights that inform PR and communications strategies. Draft, refine, and localize content (e.g., blog posts, social copy, web copy, executive talking points, press materials) while maintaining our brand voice and quality bar. Generate and iterate creative concepts, storylines, and visual ideas in partnership with designers, writers, and PR leads. Identify AI-enabled workflow improvements for the Corporate Communications and PR teams, documenting best practices and suggesting repeatable processes, prompts, and templates.
