JOB OVERVIEW: The Corporate and Business Travel Sales Manager will prospect, manage and develop key accounts for a sales territory structured by defined markets. They will work closely with Preferred Hotels and Resorts, Hotel Phoenix Global Sales representation, in prospecting and securing corporate business. Meet & exceed individual room revenue goals. Negotiate rates and hotel services within hotel revenue guidelines. Develop actions plans for account solicitation and maintenance in defined markets. Entertain hotel clients both on and off property. Execute plans for representing the hotel on site visits and sales calls (phone & in market) for repeat and new accounts. Attending required tradeshows, industry events as well as internal meetings. Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings about best practices. Always represent Hotel Phoenix in the highest professional manner. Weekend and evening work is required at times.
