Basic Function We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Accounting Supervisor to support the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and parent company reporting requirements. This role manages the month‑end close process, supervises general ledger activities, and ensures strong internal controls across accounting activities. The Corporate Accounting Manager collaborates closely with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and operations teams to support audits and continuous process improvements that strengthen financial integrity and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, with experience preparing reporting packages for a parent or global holding company.
  • Experience managing month-end close and general ledger activities in a multi-entity or complex environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP system.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and experience with process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Oversee preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules.
  • Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and key financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, parent company accounting policies, and all internal reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance related to GAAP, IFRS, and parent-company reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and review reporting packages submitted to the parent company, including variance analysis and supporting documentation.
  • Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide insights to management for decision-making.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects by providing accurate financial data and accounting expertise.
  • Assign responsibilities, prioritize workloads, and ensure strong execution across daily accounting activities.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, including SOX-related documentation and testing.
  • Support internal and external audit processes and ensure successful audit outcomes.
  • Monitor and update accounting policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and corporate standards.
  • Identify and implement improvements and standardization to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation in accounting workflows.
  • Partner with IT and Finance teams to optimize ERP systems, accounting tools, and reporting capabilities.
