About The Position

This individual will assist the corporate accounting team by performing monthly and quarterly close activities, preparing financial packages and materials for review by senior management, assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, and maintaining documentation for the corporate accounting team.

Requirements

  • Are currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate institution in the US
  • Strong record of academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.5 overall and in major (on a 4.0 scale), strongly preferred
  • Academic concentration in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of achievement in academic, leadership, and other settings
  • Creative and able to solve problems
  • Proactive, positive, and professional work ethic
  • Sharp attention to detail and the ability to deliver work product of high quality and accuracy
  • Are fundamentally an intellectually curious, resourceful, and team-driven person

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including recording journal entries and performing account reconciliations
  • Participate in the preparation of General Atlantic’s consolidated financial statements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and ad hoc financial presentations to senior management
