About The Position

Co-ops at Etegent get the opportunity to work on projects that make a difference in a wide range of exciting fields. As an Accounting Co-Op, you’ll be working on: Assists the accountant with accounts payable, payroll, and expense management. Assist with accounting and finance procedure documentation. Assist with forensic accounting research. Compile ad hoc and other internal analyses. Assist with current period closing processes. Interact with management and operations to answer important accounting questions. Provide general accounting support. Tax research projects. Help with accounts receivable management. Provide support for annual budgeting process. Etegent has a long history of working with co- students to help them achieve their professional goals. In fact, many of our full-time engineers began their careers with Etegent as co-ops. Part-Time Opportunities: We also offer the possibility of part-time work during academic semesters for high-performing co-ops. Casual Dress: We strive to have a collaborative and laid-back atmosphere. Casual dress is the norm in our office unless meeting with customers. Food: Keep your energy levels up with our well-supplied snack and beverage kitchen and enjoy a weekly lunch with your talented colleagues on Free Lunch Thursdays.

Requirements

  • Possess a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Applicant must be eligible to receive a U.S. Security Clearance which at a minimum requires applicant to be a US Citizen. See: Executive Order 12968 indicates U.S. Citizenship requirement to obtain a security clearance.
