Someone who digs in on various brands, topics or objectives and is genuinely interested in understanding who they’re writing for—knowing their mindset, what motivates them, what they care about. A gifted storyteller who uses nuance, creativity, and insights to connect with various audiences. And who writes in a way that best serves how the audience consumes it. Because the right words in the right place matter. As a copywriter at Bold Orange, you will be responsible for contributing ideas and writing compelling copy across varying channels and industries. You’ll work closely with account, project management and other creatives from kickoff to execution to create strong, cohesive work.

Requirements

  • Online portfolio link required within application materials
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of copywriting experience for B2C and B2B clients
  • Significant digital copywriting experience
  • Cross-channel expertise, including websites, email, print and social
  • Ability to take in various inputs and simplify the story
  • Provide solid rationale for copy and creative ideas/choices
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Appetite for collaboration in all phases of work, from ideation to feedback
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Desire to work in a fun, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Ideating and writing for a variety of channels/tactics including website, email, blogs, video, social, brand stories, direct mail.
  • Contribute boldly and broadly to solve the problem at-hand “And Then Some” in new and innovative ways
  • Personalize copy to ensure it is relevant to the audience based on their previous actions and mindset
  • Understand and adhere to digital best practices and trends
