[Summer 2026] Copywriter, Social Intern

The Copywriter, Social Intern position is a part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo, CA. As a Copywriter, Social Intern, you will work alongside the Design and Creative team to concept, create, and execute platform-native content that speaks authentically to our global community.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree in Communications, Creative Writing, Marketing, or a related field; additional coursework or a certificate from a specialized portfolio school is a plus, but not required.
- Passion about pushing boundaries and aren't afraid to take risks and experiment with new formats for what "brand social" can look like.
- Proficiency in writing thrilling marketing copy, from punchy captions or headlines to long-form scripts.
- Excitement about Roblox’s unique ecosystem and are excited to speak to a global audience of millions.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm and develop original, platform-native content ideas for Roblox’s owned social media accounts that resonate with the Roblox community.
- Actively monitor social trends and internet cultures to identify opportunities for Roblox to lead the conversation.
- Collaborate with our Design and Creative Teams to produce high-quality creative assets and copywriting.
- Work alongside Marketing and Brand Teams to ensure all social content aligns with broader campaign goals and brand identity.
