GMMB has a hybrid work schedule with at least three days in office presence; additional in office days as needed. This position is based in Washington, DC. Salary range - $70,000 - $95,000 This is a full-time, salaried and benefits eligible position to run through mid-November 2026. This is a position on GMMB’s award-winning political team and is a great opportunity to play a key supporting role on some of the biggest races and issues in the 2026 midterm election cycle. You are... a Copywriter who knows how to: Work with Account Leads to develop engaging creative ideas that are on-strategy, and achieve client objectives. Collaborate with an integrated team to understand client goals and develop relevant and effective communication strategies. Write clear, concise and compelling scripts and copy and translate complicated information into easy-to-understand narratives. Effectively sell creative thinking to internal teams and to clients. Stay current on advertising, branding, social and cultural trends, and use that knowledge in your creative work. Channel your passion. Requirements

  • 3+ years of copywriting experience, and or 2+ more election cycles of political comms/writing, preferably on a campaign.
  • Exceptional writing and grammar skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
  • The flexibility to thrive in a firm that puts client service first. Doing good in the world sometimes means going the extra mile for our clients.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools and understanding how and when to utilize them and how to build agents to promote efficiency.
