About The Position

SecureW2 is a fast-growing cybersecurity startup, and we are moving beyond legacy "all-in-one" marketing automation platforms to build a modular, scalable revenue engine. The Copy Editor is an editing expert experienced in performing high-quality copy edits at scale, preferably with experience in editing SEO content and marketing copy for B2B SaaS brands. You will edit high volumes of SEO blogs, case studies, landing pages, campaign collateral, and sales enablement materials, while safeguarding our style guide, SEO best practices, and our standards for AI content. This role partners closely with the writers and SEOs on the SEO Content team to deliver authoritative content with no traces of AI usage that drives traffic, leads, and revenue. The right candidate is a strong editor, writer, and proofreader who can jump into our fast-paced content workflow and help us hit our weekly editing targets.

Requirements

  • A love for writing and editing, strong attention to detail, and a mastery of English spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, in the context of web content
  • 5+ years of experience in editing, preferably in marketing with experience editing SEO content for B2B SaaS brands
  • Demonstrated success managing high volumes of copy edits on tight deadlines
  • Experience working with AI tools for editing and an eagerness to innovate with AI to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • The ability to research, fact-check, and proofread complex technical content, quickly gaining the understanding needed to make authoritative edits
  • Experience writing for web in a B2B context, ideally in SaaS, technology, or related industries
  • Excellent project management skills and experience working within content calendars and deadlines
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales

Responsibilities

  • Editing marketing materials, including SEO blogs, landing pages, whitepapers, brochures, flyers, case studies, campaign materials, social media copy, and more
  • Adhere to the SecureW2 style guide and maintain standards for brand and voice, content quality, technical accuracy, SEO best practices, and proper usage of AI
  • Deliver large volumes of high-quality content edits on tight deadlines to help streamline our SEO content pipeline
  • Partner with SEO writers, product marketing managers, campaign managers, and more key stakeholders across teams to ensure content projects meet standards and hit deadlines
  • Help manage our AI workflows to maximize editing and review efficiency
