About The Position

The Coordinator for Workforce Development is primarily responsible for effectively coordinating and supporting workforce programs. This student-facing position supports program operations through a combination of outreach, administrative, and data management tasks. The Coordinator will assist with end-to-end processes, including recruitment, placement, retention, case management, and employment transition. This is a grant-funded position through HIRE 360 with an expected end date of August 31, 2027 with a possibility of the funding being extended. This externally funded position may be assigned to work across multiple funding sources within the Workforce Development department. Compensation for the Coordinator- Workforce is $47,000-$50,000 annually.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree OR two years of experience working with individuals from underrepresented populations.
  • Experience working with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Secure a constant flow of leads by participating in recruitment and outreach events.
  • Facilitate intake functions, including processing applications, conducting pre-screen assessments, and conducting intake interviews.
  • Coordinate end-to-end processes, including recruitment, placement, retention, case management, and employment transition.
  • Identify and facilitate access to barrier reduction services to help participants overcome barriers to student success.
  • Maintain internal and external partnerships to support program and institutional outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records by collecting, entering, and managing participant data in internal databases and reporting systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational and funding requirements.
  • Gather, maintain, and analyze data necessary to achieve grant outcomes.
  • Collaborate with workforce staff and leadership to continually improve and adapt the participant experience, ensuring it meets the needs of students, the community, the institution, and funders.
  • Participate in developing departmental goals and strategic plans that support the institutional vision while addressing gaps in workforce skills.
  • Perform related duties as required.
