About The Position

The main purpose of the Coordinator Special Programs Health Services II, Mental Health position is to provide intensive street-based case management. This position will provide care coordination, follow-up and resource linkage to individuals referred to the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD)/Quick Response Team (QRT) program.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
One year of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.

Experience using a nonjudgmental, person-centered approach when engaging with clients.
Experience applying trauma-informed approaches in case management.
Experience/knowledge of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) levels of care.
Experience maintaining routine and confidential files, logs and program data.
Experience organizing and completing work according to assigned schedules.
Experience working independently and with groups.
