About The Position

Organize and coordinate quality, risk and patient safety program activities and workflow. Responsibilities: Coordinate quality, risk and/or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures. Support activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards. Analyze and report on data collected from a variety of sources. Develop detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines.

Requirements

  • Quality Professional preferred.
  • Risk Management preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in health-care quality, population health, or a payer-side HEDIS audit/abstraction role strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with the auditing/abstraction of clinical data points from medical records, with a strong focus on HEDIS measures.
  • Experience with value-based care programs (e.g., Medicare Advantage, ACOs, Commercial risk) is strongly preferred
  • Expert working knowledge of quality measurement frameworks
  • Clinic licensure (e.g., RN, LPN) or a background in Health Information Management (HIM) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
