About The Position

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll while ensuring compliance with all applicable payroll tax regulations and company policies. This role manages payroll records, supports benefit-related payroll activities, and serves as a primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience processing high-volume payroll.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar product, specifically the payroll module.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process biweekly payroll for a workforce of 250+ hourly, salary and salary nonexempt employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain payroll deductions and contributions related to benefits, garnishments, and other withholdings.
  • Manage and maintain accurate employee payroll records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the plan administrator for the company’s 401(k) program.
  • Process employee changes related to compensation, benefits, and employment status (including new hires and terminations) within ADP Workforce Now.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax-related matters.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, as well as internal policies.
  • Oversee the preparation, processing, and timely distribution of W-2s, 1095’s and other required payroll tax documents.
  • Manage and reconcile all monthly billing associated with employee benefit programs and other payroll related bills.
  • Retrieve and open mail daily and deposit/post customer payments to ERP system.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other payroll deduction accounts monthly.
  • Generate monthly journal entries, headcount, and other reporting, as needed.
  • All other duties requested.
