About The Position

The Coordinator-Outpatient Service provides customer service to patients referred for assigned cardiac specialty services. Coordinate patient care services while serving as patient advocate. Facilitates the delivery of optimal patient care. Obtains medical records, schedules patient appointments, and provides phone coverage. Assures good relationships and timely communications with referring physicians. Assists with the implementation of new programs and functions as a program resource. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum six months of experience in a medical or physician practice setting as an administrative support staff or coordinator position.
• Able to keyboard 40 wpm.
• Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality
• Use computer, printers, fax machines and software programs necessary for the position.
• Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
• Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others

Nice To Haves

• Associate`s Degree preferred.
• LLU system knowledge and experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
