The Coordinator of Student Engagement & Campus Programs is responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing a comprehensive portfolio of campus-wide programs and events designed to promote student involvement, community building, and campus pride. This role advises the Student Activities Board (SAB), provides support for student ambassador and student entrepreneur programs, collaborates with Athletics to enhance student engagement in sports events, and serves as an advisor to the Royal Court. The coordinator ensures that programming aligns with the university's mission of fostering student success, retention, and leadership development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Program Development & Implementation: Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale university programs and traditions such as Homecoming, Spring Week, and other signature events. Collaborate with campus departments to create dynamic, engaging campus-wide events that contribute to student satisfaction and retention. Serve as the primary liaison to campus student ambassador and student entrepreneur programs, supporting their training and development. Advising & Student Support: Advise the Student Activities Board (SAB) in event planning, budgeting, risk management, and leadership development. Advise and support the Royal Court, collaborating on programming and event appearances to promote school spirit and campus engagement. Partner with the Department of Athletics to coordinate and promote student attendance at athletic events and student spirit initiatives. Administrative & Operational Responsibilities: Manage program budgets, contracts, and purchasing related to campus programs and events. Maintain event records, assessments, and reports to inform future programming and demonstrate impact on student engagement. Coordinate marketing and promotional efforts in collaboration with the office's marketing and communications staff or Graduate Assistant. Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with student organizations, faculty, staff, and external vendors to ensure successful program execution. Foster partnerships with community agencies to enhance student exposure to off-campus opportunities that contribute to personal and professional growth. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through intentional programming efforts. Other Duties as Assigned: Participate in office, division, and university committees as requested. Assist with late-night, weekend, and special event programming as needed.
