About The Position

The Assessment Coordinator in the School of Education (SoE), College of Undergraduate Studies assists the SoE in program/curriculum development and alignment, and works with the Dean and faculty in the areas of assessment, accreditation, reauthorization, and reporting. This is a part-time, temporary role.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree (preferred) in K-12 education, education leadership, curriculum and instruction.
  • Experience in the K-12 education sector required
  • Experience with development, revision, and administration of a continuous improvement model required, including development of assessments, data collection, reporting and accreditation.
  • Passion for higher education and dedication to using assessment data to support student success.
  • Exemplary oral, interpersonal and written communication skills; Adapts quickly and cheerfully to changing priorities and processes; Demonstrates ability to work effectively and positively with students, administrators, faculty, and staff.
  • Demonstrated servant leadership, high ethical standards, and professional business demeanor. Must be aligned with CCU’s mission, strategic objectives, and faith; and
  • Proficient skill using Microsoft Office products: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel with an ability to quickly learn and master CCU’s database programs and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Dean to develop, author and project manage event content and documents related to federal and state authorizations/accreditations, including required program reports, assessment reports, new licensure program proposals, and revised program proposals.
  • CO Department of Education, CO Department of Higher Education, U.S. Department of Education, Association of Christian Schools International, National Council on Teacher Quality.
  • Work with the Dean to develop, implement, evaluate, and revise assigned program/course curriculum related to program and student learning outcomes.
  • Consistent with staff classification work schedule expectations, work part-time during the summer months, work on Fridays during the academic year and during Spring/Winter Break as needed.
  • Commit to exemplary academics, personal spiritual growth, and engagement with the world.
  • Grow in commitment and effectiveness in the integration of Christian faith and learning.
  • Contribute to the development of a Christ-centered community of learners and scholars within the School of Education and College of Undergraduate Studies; and
  • Perform other duties as identified and/or assigned.
