About The Position
This position is responsible for the overall coordination of the Magnet Certification Program and supports nursing leaders in developing a framework and managing the processes that create and sustain a culture based on the Magnet Model. The Magnet Coordinator promotes an awareness and understanding of positive professional practice principles, cultivates and inspires transformational leadership, and ensures nursing excellence and quality patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Master's Degree required.
- Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the Maryland.
- Continuing education and professional development (ANCC) or related Organizational Development or related certificate.
- Minimum of two years developing continuing education programs.
- Current CPR Certification required
